More Than Just a Market

For more than a century, Mott's Market has been woven into the fabric of Capitol Hill. It has been the place for last-minute groceries, a quick cup of coffee, a bottle of wine on the way to dinner, and countless everyday conversations between neighbors.

When Mott's closed in 2022, our community refused to let this neighborhood institution disappear.

Neighbors came together to form Mott's Neighborhood Market, a community-led effort to purchase and preserve the property. Together, we raised capital, purchased the building, and spent the next four years planning, renovating, and preparing Mott's for its next century of service.

Today, we're proud to say: Mott's Market is back!

The new Mott's builds on everything neighbors loved while offering even more. Stop in for handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh coffee, breakfast, made-to-order sandwiches, more than 80 wines from around the world, beer, everyday groceries, and locally curated favorites.

Whether you're grabbing something on your way home, meeting friends in the backyard, working remotely over coffee, or picking up a bottle of wine for dinner, Mott's is once again a place where neighbors connect.
